Swallow your fear and jump on out,
Of the stagnent pool of belief
Which some call reality.
There's no use holding back
Because one way or another, you're going to come.
Think of a wish and blow the candels out.
But be careful what you wish for,
You just might get it.
Suffocating in the open,
And death within life.
A world on the edge,
Looks in vain for a saving hand
And a child wishing for something more,
Wonders the streets in search of love.
We persue life,
But find only the allusion of such.
Dare to dream the forbidden dream
This dream of reality's demise.
Sew your eyes open,
Don't let them close, don't let them cry.
Paint on the smile, rosy up the cheeks.
Gotta put on a good show, have to fool them all.
Don't think it will change,
Because no matter what you do, it won't.
But when you've had enough, and your sad enough,
And mad enough,
You'll risk your life for an image.
The image of a dream twice taken.
This dream of hope in a hopeless world.
Beware of the demon that stands at your door,
He waits for your soul.
Watch the flame flicker in the breeze,
Feel the sensation of pain as you reach for it in the dark.
Cling to the silent insanity,
That holds your soul together.
Turn to the hate,
That binds your life forever.
A blood red rose drips it's life on the floor.
And a trap is lain for the last of a breed that roams free.
You stare into the darkness ahead of you,
As your mind at last gives in,
To that aberration from which it has been running.
See the figure in the mirror fade from view,
As your mind and soul melt into the night.
You try to invision heaven,
But what does not exist in your mind
Can not come to sight.
In this tunnel you are trapped,
But no light at the end do you see.
Your mind floating twards oblivion,
In your dreams of darkness.
So jump off a bridge,
And pray for wings.
